Flexible Access Levles

Users (email addresses) can be defined in several ways:

  • A Domain administrator can manually enter a list of users directly into MailWasha. Email addresses to non-existent users will be rejected.
  • SMTP verification. MailWasha, on receipt of an email, checks with your mail system to see if the address is valid. Only valid addresses are accepted. The results are cached to avoid placing a heavy load on your server
  • Active Directory. MailWasha can be configured to access your Organisation's Active Directory to determine users' email addresses.

Users can log into MailWasha, in most cases using their existing email passwords or Windows passwords, to check their own delivery queues and SPAM settings.

Domain Administrators have additional power to configure the MailWasha service and set global SPAM and content-filter policies.
